Imagine crossing a wooden foot bridge to greet your husband-to-be on a small island, surrounded by a spring-fed five acre lake with the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the background. Your guests can watch from the shaded grassy shore just yards away. You can host a beautiful reception for up to 175 people on the water’s edge or in the picnic pavilion. Reunions, Retreats, and Picnics
Are you hosting a family reunion? Are you in charge of organizing your church or business retreat or picnic? Sierra Lakes can accommodate up to 175 people for day use and we have 25 RV sites, 12 tent sites, 4 cabins and a vintage trailer for rent to accommodate overnight guests. We have a large covered and lighted picnic pavilion with a fire pit and games court. Paddle boat rentals are available. The kitchen is available for rent or groups can potluck from their trailers and tents. We have newly renovated bathrooms and showers. Have a fishing derby and then a games night or campfire under the stars. At Sierra Lakes you can create memories to last a lifetime. For more information on retreats.
Set Location/Filming
All of Sierra Lakes’ facilities are on private property so you will not have to hassle with permits. We can provide your caterer with a kitchen and have hookups for 27 trailers. We are an easy drive from the Los Angeles area. If you are looking for locations to film scenes for a bygone era, or a mountain or lake setting, you can’t beat Sierra Lakes.
(If you are looking for a location in which to host an event such as a bicycle or motorcycle rally, fishing tournament, music festival, doggy sports such as dock diving, field work, agility, and the like, we can accommodate you. Please call for information.)
